So what is the difference in recording quality?
Possibly the easiest way to get a grip on what everything means is simply by numbers...translated into pixels and you start to understand what everything means. As technology is changing in the mobile recorder market we need to understand how this relates to the offerings available. The table below clearly shows how variation in recording quality (Item) is then manifested into images we record and ultimately view or play back.
Currently the SVS MDVR records to a highest setting of D1 at 25fps (frames per second) where many of the other market offerings are at less fps or even at CIF quality...but we will soon have an offering that takes us to 720p and move ahead of the market yet again. Along the same lines as sheer numbers above - this is now a transition into the actual recorded sizes from the data above...but this time in a simple box to identify the image recorded sizes. Most importantly we show this translates into images with some indicative images below to better assist in what this all means when all is said and done.
